Degree in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage
ESAPA is the only institution at the Principality of Asturias providing degree-level courses in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage.
The aim of this course is the preparation of specialists and competitive professionals in the preservation, conservation and restoration of historical and cultural heritage. Artistic techniques, history, applied sciences, as well as restoration and conservation practicals, contribute to achieve a very complete humanistic and scientific formation in this area.
Practical work is in focus in these studies and students are involved in real conservation and restoration projects since the beginning of the second year onwards.
